Commits to Texas Tech University

Kermitria Ward who plays OF and Pitches for the Texas Fusion Gold has verbally committed to play softball for Coach Shanon Hays and the University of Texas Tech.

Kermitria joined our team in the fall of 2008, she helped our team qualify for Gold Nationals last summer.  Kermitria is one of the most incredible athletes I have ever seen, she has God given talent that most of us can only dream of!  She has worked hard and become part of our one, two punch at the top of our line up and she has gotten better and better over the last 12 - 14 months.

I am very proud of Kermitria and I feel very confident that she will have a successful career at the next level.  Congratulations to Kermitria and your family, and your long time coach Lawrence Ramirez.
